8/20/2024 Almost there! It's time for crop estimates.
Once we know the sugar and the average weight of the clusters in each block (from weighing berries during our comprehensive sampling), it's time to weigh whole clusters from individual blocks. Using this data, along with historical data on how much the grapes increase in weight as they gain sugar (increase in Brix), we can estimate our final tonnage of each variety. Then we can start making a plan for which blocks go in which tanks and approximately when.
