ZinFest

It’s no secret that here at Hendry, we are big fans of Zinfandel. It is among our most popular wines, and constitutes just over a fifth of our vineyard acreage. But did you know that Napa Valley is responsible for an ever-shrinking portion of California’s Zinfandel acreage and output? What a shame! To help us make the case for Napa Valley Zinfandel, we have invited fellow Zinfandel producers Green & Red and Tres Sabores to join us for our second annual ZinFest! We hope you can join us too!

Festivities will kick off with a panel discussion: winemakers Julie Johnson (Tres Sabores), Aaron Whitlatch (Green & Red) and Mike Hendry (Hendry Vineyard / Mike & Molly Hendry) will talk about their experience growing Zinfandel and why they love working with this grape. They will also touch on the complexities of their different Napa Valley locations, which range from Rutherford over to Chiles Valley, down to Coombsville and across to Oak Knoll.

After the discussion, guests will have an opportunity to sample Zinfandels from all four wineries, to see just how varied, expressive, and beautiful this wine can be! After the tasting, kick back with a glass of something tasty and enjoy a BBQ lunch and live music. A relaxing afternoon celebrating one of our favorite wines – what’s not to love?

General Admission: $70 | Hendry Wine Club members: $50
This event is open to club members and the general public. Club members are entitled to purchase two club tickets per membership, and are encouraged to bring additional guests by purchasing "non-member" tickets.
